WELCOME MESSAGE

It is a great honor and pleasure to invite you to participate in the “11th East Asia Joint Symposium on Plasma and Electrostatic Technologies for Environmental Application (EAPETEA-11)” to be held on October 9-11, 2026 in Beijing, China. Following the first working group meeting in Jeju (November 22–24, 2012), the symposium has been successfully held annually, rotating among Korea, Japan, and China since 2017. EAPETEA has become an important platform for academic exchange and collaboration among East Asian researchers in the fields of plasma and electrostatic technologies. In this meeting, critical issues and ongoing advances in plasma science and its applications will be discussed, including but not limited to plasma diagnostics, commercial plasma technologies, and their applications in biomedical, environmental, and industrial fields. We sincerely welcome your participation in EAPETEA-11 and hope you will enjoy the rich academic atmosphere and cultural heritage of the vibrant city of Beijing. On-site registration and check-in will be arranged on 8 October 2026, one day before the technical sessions.

Partner Journal

This conference is pleased to partner with Plasma Science and Technology (PST) to invite full-paper submissions.

All submitted manuscripts will undergo the journal’s peer-review process. Accepted papers will be published as regular journal articles in PST. The submission deadline is 31 December 2026. Authors should prepare their manuscripts using the journal template available at: http://pst.hfcas.ac.cn/articletemplate. The Word template is recommended. Detailed submission instructions will be announced separately.

About the Journal

Plasma Science and Technology (PST), launched in 1999, is an international monthly academic journal published in English. It is jointly sponsored by the Hefei Institutes of Physical Science, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the Chinese Society of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics. PST focuses on plasma science and technology and related interdisciplinary fields, covering nuclear fusion physics and engineering, low-temperature plasma technology, environmental applications, plasma biology, materials science, chemistry, and other related areas. Professor Yunfeng Liang from Forschungszentrum Jülich, Germany, serves as Editor-in-Chief. The journal has also invited renowned scholars from Germany, France, Japan, and other countries to join its editorial board, forming an internationally oriented editorial team.

Since 2006, PST has partnered with IOP Publishing to provide global online publication. The journal is currently indexed in major databases including SCI, EI, and Scopus. Its 2024 Impact Factor is 1.8. PST is ranked Q3 in Physics in the Journal Citation Reports (JCR), and is placed in Tier 2 of the Physics category in the XR-Scholar Ranking. PST is committed to an efficient and rigorous publication process. It continues to enhance its international visibility through online and social-media promotion, outstanding-paper selections, and other outreach activities. The journal is now subscribed to by more than 3,170 research institutions worldwide. In 2025, overseas downloads exceeded 110,000, making PST an important international platform for showcasing frontier achievements in plasma research from China.

PST has developed a comprehensive publishing and outreach framework that integrates high-quality paper publication, international conference promotion, and multi-platform online dissemination. It has become an important platform for XR-Scholar Ranking plasma science and technology. The journal follows an efficient and standardized publication workflow. The first-round review period is approximately 30 days, and accepted papers can be made available online ahead of formal publication within 24 hours. PST also actively supports the promotion of domestic and international academic conferences through on-site presentations, themed special issues, and recommendations of outstanding conference papers, helping transform cutting-edge conference results into high-quality journal publications. For academic outreach, PST uses its official website, the IOP Publishing platform, and its WeChat official account to continuously improve article visibility and international reach.
